🛬 The grace period is a little extra time the rental supplier gives after your scheduled pick-up time, allowing you to collect the car without facing penalties or cancellations. The grace period is available only during the supplier’s regular business hours. Usually, it lasts from up to 30 minutes to a few hours, with one hour being most common. During this time, your booking remains secure, and there are no extra fees. However, if you don’t pick up the car within this window and haven’t received confirmation from the supplier that the car will wait for you, there’s a chance your booking could be cancelled as a No-Show.
🛫 For the drop-off, the grace period is usually up to one hour. If you return the car within this timeframe, you can avoid any additional costs. However, if you return the car after this grace period, you may incur charges for an extra day or be invoiced at an hourly rate.
ℹ️ You can check the duration of your rental supplier's grace period and their working hours in the Business Hours section of the Rental Conditions or on your voucher.
