Most rental suppliers will require your full driver’s license to have been valid for at least one year before you start your rental, but some might ask for more driving experience. Usually, learner’s permits aren’t accepted. 

ℹ️ There may also be minimum age restrictions, which can vary depending on the country (or state) and even the type of car you want to rent.
