🚗 Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)  reduces your financial responsibility if the rental car is damaged or stolen. It typically includes both Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP), limiting the amount you’d have to pay, usually up to a stated excess/deductible.

🎒 LDW does not cover personal belongings, negligence, or certain parts of the car, like tires, windows, and the undercarriage unless stated otherwise. While it’s often included in rentals outside the U.S., in North America, LDW is usually optional and can be declined if you have alternative coverage.
